We are pleased to announce the opening of the Joint VA/DoD Optometry clinic at Joint Base Charleston-Weapons Station effective April 18, 2011. This is the first joint facility in the Lowcountry designed to provide services for Veterans, Air Force and Navy service members and their dependents.
The clinic will provide optometry services for Veterans and DoD beneficiaries in a patient-friendly location closer to where they live and work. Hours of operation are Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Optometry services include eye exams, optical shop and fittings. These services are available to VA-enrolled Veterans, active duty service members and Tricare beneficiaries.
