Determine Your Eligibility
Before receiving services with Charleston VAMC, you should first determine your eligibility. Use our eligibility page to make an application for health care benefits.
You will be treated with dignity, compassion, and respect as an individual regardless of your age, race, color, creed, religion , gender identity or sexual orientation.
Schedule an Appointment
Eligible veterans should contact the VA Medical Center to schedule an appointment with a primary care provider. Getting an appointment can be done in a number of ways.
Change or Cancel an Appointment
If you have an existing appointment and cannot keep it, let us help you change it. This way, we will be able to see another veteran during that time period. Let us help you reschedule or cancel your appointment.
Courtesy of vans donated from the Disabled American Veterans, transportation is available to enable our patients to travel to and from Beaufort, SC; Loris, SC; Myrtle Beach, SC; Savannah, GA; Walterboro, SC; Summerville, SC; and Hampton County, SC to the main facility in Charleston. After You Leave
Billing and Insurance
