Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center resumes normal operations; VA outpatient clinic status update 

VAMC STATUS:  The Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center and all VA outpaient clinics are on a normal operating schedule. Clinic staff are calling patients to reschedule appointments that were cancelled due to Hurricane Matthew.

CBOC STATUS: All the Charleston VA outpatient clinics are operating on a normal schedule.

Savannah CBOC: Savannah patients with appointments should continue to report to the 325 West Montgomery Crossroad location. The move to the new clinic has been postponed. 

PATIENT STATUS:  All outpatient clinics except Savannah are open and operating normally. Clinic staff are calling patients to reschedule appointments that were cancelled due to Hurricane Matthew. Inpatients that were transferred to other VA facilities began returning to Charleston VAMC on Tuesday, October 11.    

VA VOLUNTEERS: Volunteers should report at their regularly scheduled times.

STORM RECOVERY: People with storm losses can register simply by calling 800-621-FEMA (3362), which is video relay service accessible. Applicants who are deaf or hard-of-hearing can use TTY 800-462-7585. Online registration is available at www.DisasterAssistance.gov or through a smartphone or tablet at m.fema.gov.   https://www.fema.gov/apply-assistance
